Wuthering Heights - Emily Bronte

If you're taking GCSE English Language this year then there's a good chance that you'll be studying the Emily Bronte novel Wuthering Heights.

Wuthering Heights is Emily Bronte's only novel. The book was first published in 1847 under the pseudonym Ellis Bell, and a posthumous second edition was edited by her sister Charlotte.

Heathcliff and Catherine are wildly in love. The book is the result of their violence and misery that result from their thwarted longing for each other.
